Javier Perez Tobia

Originally from Spain, Javier moved to Kelowna to pursue his Bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics at UBC Okanagan in 2018. His previous research has focused on deep learning robustness as well as in system sequence reconstruction using continuous-time Recurrent Neural Networks. He is currently working on applying deep learning algorithms to develop maintenance-free control systems. Outside of research, he enjoys skiing, climbing and mountaineering.
